    Hi Jim

Please can you be more specific with the address you are trying to use? Hundreds of other users are using the plugin without any problems and if this is a real bug I would like to get it sorted out so that no one else faces this issue.

    What address are you using?
What default address does it default to?
Is this error appearing in the admin section or on the front end?

    Kind regards
    Nick

Ok. I’ll send you a link to a video so you can see my entire setup and how I am using the plugin.

I set up a local WAMP server and a clean site to test the plugin.

Maybe I just don’t get how it works. I am definitely missing something here.

Please watch the video and let me know what I’m doing wrong.

    Hi Jim

Thank you for the video – very informative on how people use my plugin. This is a simple misunderstanding.

It appears that the marker is being added correctly. All that’s left to do is move the map using your mouse in the admin section to the USA and zoom into the location you want. Adding the marker will simply add the marker to the map but you need to tell the plugin where you want to display the map. Once you move the map to your desired location (click the mouse and drag the map to move it) then click “Save Map”. I hope those makes sense.

    Kind regards
    Nick

I just want to add that I had the same issue as jim.hubbard.

After reading your response above, it now make sense. I think the confusing thing is for those that work with Google Maps on a daily basis when you type in an address we expect the map to center on that new address (marker). That is the confusion.

I see how it works now, so no problem, maybe some place in the install instructions you can put those straight forward instructions you mentioned above.

I almost gave up on this Plugin until I found this thread.
