[Plugin: wp-flickr-press] Make Sure You Follow the Installation Instructions

Being a rank amateur to all this WP stuff, I get confused easily.

I wasted a couple hours on installation until I figured out HOW you obtain an API from Flickr, and where you go to modify the API settings so that you can set the callback URL.

Once I got that done, ok fine, the thing works great. But DAMN….

How about some detailed instructions with photos showing what to click on in Flickr to get where you need to go.

P.S. Log into Flickr go to YOU > Your Account > Sharing & Extending >

Scroll down and find the “Your API keys” and click on your API (hopefully you have one, or you’ll have to create one)

When the new API screen opens you (I think, since I have more than one) are given a list of your API’s….if that happens, click the one you created for wp-flickr-press.

Now…when THIS new window opens look over to the right and you’ll see some very tiny print that says “Admin” and has a list below it……click “edit”

This is where you can type in your callback URL. and be sure to use the text provided in the “Installation” instructions for wp-flickr-press.
