This is a great plugin for a designer – definitely not a programmer – like me. it works great and it has even more options that I need. Yet, I can’t get the results, displayed in a simple table, styled the way I want.

When I look at the returned code, it strikes me that the table itself has no class attached. Why is that? I’ve tried adding classes to the table, tr and td’s in the stylesheet, but the problem remains that the parent table has no ID nor a class of its own. That makes styling the list almost impossible.

Also, when I add cells to the row (like ‘author’), the table heading won’t play along. It still says ‘name’, size’ and ‘hits’, although my site is all about the Dutch language ?? Where do I change this?

Is there a fix for this? Could you tell me where I can find the code that displays the table, so that I can add the classes myself? I haven’t been able to find this code so far. I’d appreciate any directions to a solution, since the plugin itself is terrific.

  • What you want is very easily possible, but you’re trying to accomplish it incorrectly (maybe from setup.php).

From the wp’s admin page, go to wp-filebase -> manage templates. Edit the files template you’re using (probably called 3-col-row) and the file list template you’re using (probably Table).

Again, it’s all very easily possible. If you’re having difficulties, the problem is that you don’t know exactly where to look / what to change. As with all things, a bit of familiarity is needed to accomplish what we want.

Completely my fault, for which I must excuse myself. I overlooked the three tabs at the top of the ‘manage templates’ page. That’s why I missed the file list template and thought I could only manage the file output.

Next time, I’ll look further before bothering you with qustions like this one.

Apology not necessary, it happens. ??

Also, I’m not the developer of this plugin, just a fellow user.

Good to see users helping each other, great support rawr34 :).

I’ll add a h2-title on the template page to make it harder to overlook the tabs ??
