[Plugin: WP Family Tree] Increasing the width of the Family Tree into full age

  • First of all thank you for this super plugin. It works just as you demonstrated in the video. It is easy to use and much simpler than the complicated expensive other software. Pulse, it looks very neat and decent in a WordPress.

    My question is, how do I make the Family Tree into a full page. I don’t speak techi so to make it simple, I use a full width layout and not using any sidebars. Is there any trick to make the family tree page into a full page? Right now, it looks like it is using only 75% of the page width. I am not sure if you understand what I am trying to say, so please take a look moonnanappallil.com/

    Thank you for the positive feedback – it is much appreciated. I am glad you like the plugin!

    You need to locate the file styles.css in the plugin directory and locate the styling for the borderBox element (starts at line 13 in v0.11 of the plugin)

    Try changing the width to 930px for example.

    Let us know how you get on and if you have any other problems.

    I have been considering updating the plugin to make these styling changes more easy to manage. Feel free to add yourself to our mailing list at the Family tree plugin website if you want to get updates about this.

    Made the changes as you stated and it looks great. I think I can add up the height as the tree is growing.

    Once I am completed with the Family Tree, I will be adding another review in the site about WP family tree. If you have any other forum or a site for adding review, let me know.
