I am curious if there is a way to display the featured image (set in the wordpress page) as the first thumbnail that gets displayed as a choice in facebook.

currently, facebook shows the image from the page content first, then the featured image as second option, and the default image as last option.

I want the featured image to be the first choice as a thumbnail.

also, most people have there ‘thumbnail’ image set at 150×150 in WordPress media settings. facebook calls an og error for images that are not 200×200. since, this plugin calls for the feature image as the ‘thumbnail’ size, it was pulling in a 150×150 image… wondering if this can be updated somehow in a future release.

    1. when there are multiple images the plugin will build an array as now allowed by FB OGP. I honestly don’t know in which order they decide to choose the first image from… sometimes i’ve seen it pull the first one in the array and sometimes I’ve seen it pull the last one… I don’t know how to fix that lol. perhaps would require a setting to not allow an array to form but not sure how else to do that. FB just does what it does, and they change stuff often w/o updates so… really no idea.

    2. the thumbnail size will be fixed in 2.0.4 to push today or very soon. FB changed that randomly a little while ago an the default WP thumbnail size is 150. I’m change it to ‘medium’ so it should be max 300px.

cool. understand the problem with array of images. perhaps, i can figure out a way for fb ogp to only ask for the feature image and not any other images in the post.
    thanks for the update ??
