[Plugin: WP e-Commerce] Pagination breaks if Products Page is Home Page

I’m trying to use the Products Page as my home page. I went through the steps…Settings -> Reading settings and set ‘Home’ as the static “Front page.” I refreshed permalinks many times. Now pagination is broken for this products page (my home page) (not broken for product category pages).
From my home page, clicking ‘Page 2’ redirects from https://www.mydomain.com/home/page/2/
to https://www.mydomain.com/2/. This results in a 404 error. Is it wrong to use the products page as the site’s home page like this? Any help is appreciated; thanks in advance.
