  • ChristianAVS: Thanks, man! Worked like a charm. I have one question, though. What permissions should be set on both the .ini file and the /tmp folder?

Creating the .php5.ini file worked like a charm on GoDaddy host, but created a new issue. The dashboard pages were the white screen of death. Only when the wp e-commerce plugin is disabled could I access the dashboard. BUT…when I raised the memory limit in the php.ini file- problem solved. Just in case any others are in the same boat.

Error message that install failed: “file already exists
    /data/15/2/87/123/2739612/user/3010975/htdocs/wordpress1/wp-content/plugins/wp-e-commerce/”

All the files were visible at Network solutions but at htdocs/wordpress1/wp-content/plugins/wp-e-commerce/ but nothing was visible in dashboard: plugins.

After much research deleted plugin file from NetSol file directory and installed cart66 as recommended by other frustrated wp-commerce users.

In a 100th of the time I spent researching the problem with above error message, I was instantly able to download and activate and begin using Cart66. Thanks CyFree
