[Plugin: WP e-Commerce] Enable shortcode in "additional description" field?

Hi I want to show more than 1 image per product so I thought maybe I could use NextGen Gallery in the product description/ additional description field. Obviously it did not work. I have spent ages researching online but couldn’t find a solution that worked. Can anyone tell me what could I do please??? Thanks a lot!
