I installed and it didn’t seem to work with my theme. I deactivated but it left text and links in the theme. I removed it entirely from my plugins folder and the links and text are still screwing up the theme.

I was hoping that this plugin would work because I am in need of a e-commerce solution which will handle Japanese text. This one doesn’t seem to be the answer.

  • WP Ecommerce creates 4 pages on install.

    Products Page
    -Transaction Results
    -Verify Your Order
    -Your Account

Go to “Pages–>Edit” and you can delete those pages.

I know this post was made 7 months ago, but I’m hoping someone can help me with the same problem.

I installed WP e-commerce, but it didn’t work with my theme. I deleted the folder from the plugins folder and then deleted the 4 pages that the plugin created on install. However, even after deleting them, they are still showing up when I preview my web page.

I then went into the database and deleted all of the tables associated with the plugin. However, I am still seeing the following pages in my navigation:

    Produsct Page
    Checkout
    Transaction Results
    Your Account

    Any thoughts?

    Cheers,
    Laura

Same problem here. I cannot delete the product page. It cannot be deleted in the pages section, as it is not listed there as a page!

I found a solution to this problem.
Go to your widgets, and in the Main menu( or Pages too I guess, depending on the template)…then put in the page IDs of the stupid ecommerce pages in the “exclude” box. I found the non-existent pages ID by using Firebug.
It worked like a charm…ecommerce pages all gone ( at least on the front page)
