Nice concept. Nice to avoid the $95 guy!
Problem…validates CSV file ok, but doesn’t upload any data. (result is “0 record(s) affected, 0 price changed”)
Instructions should be in better English, and less disjointed.
    Sample file would be great.
Author website is not really up – no info, default WP text.

If you can make this work…you’ll have a LOT of friends!

If you include a Product Id or SKU field in your CVS file, it will work. And update you plugin to version 1.0.1

I updated to 1.01 + tried with both ‘SKU’ and ‘Product Id’. Together and separate.
The header ‘validates’, but upon selecting ‘Import Now’, I still get the message: “0 record(s) affected, 0 price changed” (I have 15 items plus header in my CSV file).

    Still does not work.

Ok. I just took a look at the authors website – now has example file and a few other items. I changed my file to look exactly like his….and it works.
I then modified my file a few times and found that it worked when I removed the ‘Category Id’ column, or did not have it in the last column of the file. No idea why.
    Anyway….plugin now works for me.
    Thanks

You can put anywhere your category id or any other fields as long as you have a primary key(SKU or Product Id) and no comma in your last field and no empty header field.

can you change the order too? would there need to be an order field?

There is no order in the Header in your CSV file. You can place the header name anywhere you want as long as you don’t have an empty field in between and include one of the primary key.
