The plugin looked very promising in the beginning – had everything I was looking for. Very intuitive ans easy to setup. Worked for 6 months without an issue. After recent update my entire online store was broken. Errors in shipment and payment modules. The worst part is that support was unresponsive. People on the support forum wait for months to have their issues resolved if ever. Disappointed

Sorry this was your experience. What version were you upgrading from?
We’re working on an awesome flashy new version (3.8 RC4 is current) and we want to make sure that other people upgrading from the version you were using can upgrade with any issues.

Also there are plenty of green “resolved” threads on our forums too. There are plenty of un resolved threads here for WordPress too. We all do the best we can with the resources we have – want to speed up a support request go here:

I’ve had the same experience with 3.8, as well. The same issues carried over from 3.7, plus now my themes are broken. I supposedly had a premium support ticket with their developers, but after requesting my WP username / password, I never heard back. Been six months now.

I’m looking at either cart66 or https://shopplugin.net/… leaning towards shopplugin since I don’t think cart66 supports my linkpoint payment gateway.

WPEC is a nice idea, but I’ve lost thousands of dollars in sales to the fact that it will stop working spontaneously, and take several days to bring back online again. I’m fed up.

Sorry to hear about the unresponsive support. I’m not an employee there, but they are good friends of mine, and I know they’re doing the absolute best they can with the resources they have. They help literally hundreds of people every week and stay on top of development, too.

I know from personal development on the project that shipping and payment gateways SHOULD work great, better than ever, actually. Themes are a bit tricky, but certainly CAN be ported over. If either one of you would like to email me at office at zaowebdesign dot com, I’d be happy to help debug your issues.
