I’d need to see your category structure. Post a screenshot of your admin panel or send me a login to check it out.

Thanks for the response. I would have posted a screenshot, but I don’t see an “upload” option in this forum – that’s why I included a link to the site itself.

The category structure is very simple. Only 2 levels. Six top-level categories posts under those. However my 6 categories all display as nested under each other. Then all the posts do likewise so that they disappear off the right side of the site.

I have uploaded 2 images here. Hope this helps.

Curiously, I have another similar web site that uses the “Page” widget and it seems to work just fine.

I need to see your category structure in the administration interface, not in the (presumably) buggy front-end. Your link worked fine.

Here is a capture of this. There is really nothing to it, they are all top-level categories. Numbered 56, 57, 58, 59, 60,& 61. In the widget, I specifically ask for these 6 ID numbers.

Hopefully this is the kind of information you need.

For some reason a lot of the posts doesn’t get their parent node set correctly. Try it without “specifically asking for these 6”.

Curiously, I removed these 6 IDs and let it pull in all my categories, and it does exactly the same thing, only with every category!

Then, I made ID 5 be the parent of these six and then selected it and descendants, and it did still did the same thing.

I’ll keep looking into it. Especially to see what might be different between my two sites that use this plugin, since the other uses it just fine.
