    …but could be nice to avoid the need of “Path To mysqldump” and “Path To mysql” settings – since some hosting provider doesn’t provide such informations – to make it a little more ‘antomatic & user friendly’…
    Just like wp-db-backup does!

    WP-DB-Backup uses PHP to generate the dump file and hence it does not need to know the path to mysqldump. Whereas for WP-DBManager, it is using the native mysqldump to generate it.

    Yeah, ok, but it’s a pity if your provider doesn’t help you, so an option could be welcome…

    Seems that EZPZ ( https://goo.gl/4WTqA ) works using mysqldump and it works on my hosting where WP-DBManager fails…
    Could it use the same ‘code’?
    (I don’t know what I’m talking about!)
    Am I right or wrong?
