[Plugin: WP Db Abstraction] Menus and Media not working

After creating pages, one cannot create menus under the appearance item. No pages are shown.
Further, media do not show up, once uploaded to the site.
Server: IIS 7 on Windows 7
WP: 3.3.1
DB Abstraction: 1.4all updates installed.
Same configuration, using DB Abstraction 1.3 works fine.
