Have had much sucess with this plug-in and glad to see all the new enhancements.

Love being able to add the display of recent, or customized reviews into the sidebar.

Infact, I have added the same to display on a mobile page, however what I’d also like to do is add the option to add a review directly from that mobile page since so many people navigate with mobile devices.

    In addition to adding [WPCR_SHOW POSTID=”ALL” NUM=”3″ SNIPPET=”” MORE=”” HIDECUSTOM=”0″ HIDERESPONSE=”0″]

I added [WPCR_INSERT] on a seperate line. It did display the “Click here to add your Review” #wpcr_button_1 however it the javascript does not function to open the form when I click it.

It isn’t the mobile device either because I then navigated to the Review page where the WP Customer Review plug-in is used and was able to open the Click here to add your Review form.

Is there something that can be added to [WPCR_INSERT] that will get around the javascript failure so that this can be used on mobiles?

Thanks so much for a great plug in.

Do you have a link to an example page of using WPCR_INSERT where the button is not working?

    Thanks!

yes I do, this a mobile page so please use a mobile when you click it or you will be re-directed to a desktop page.

    url is https://blueflameventures.ca/mlp/lgbt-reviews/

I placed the [WPCR_INSERT] at the bottom of the page. You will notice the form and of course the comment, there are no reviews yet, which is not true, since the [WPCR_SHOW POSTID=”ALL” NUM=”20″ SNIPPET=”” MORE=”” HIDECUSTOM=”0″ HIDERESPONSE=”0″] above is already displaying live reviews.

I hope this helps to identify the fix.

    Thanks again,

    Gwen

Please try the latest version 2.4.2 .. I’ve modified the way that script and JS are being included. It appears that your theme was not picking up on the wp_enqueue_script call to include the plugin’s Javascript.

I’ve made some updates to try to force it to include as early as possible, but if your theme never calls wp_head() , then most plugins will cause issues. From seeing other plugin script files in <head>, it does seem that this fix should work.

Please let me know if this is fixed, or if there is still an issue.

That worked perfectly thank you, and noticed you cleaned up the wording too.

Can you tell me what you added in case I ever have to “force” this in the future?

Now the mobile world can enjoy it too!
