[Plugin: WP Customer Reviews] How to add post options to custom post template?

  • Great plugin btw. A client asked me to see if I can integrate it into their site which uses a custom post template. Right now I only get post options when creating a standard post.

    How can I add the post options to posts being created in clients custom post template?

    I have the skills to edit the template and/or functions.php but I am a little new to this level of WP interaction so I don’t know where/how to call the plugin for a custom template.

    Would greatly appreciate any help. Thanks!

    Figured this out. Actually once I worked out some issues displaying the custom types within the framework of my theme, it just worked.

    Would you be able to share what you did to get this working with custom post types?

    I am in a similar situation and can only seem to set the reviews for pages at the moment

    Hey Nick,

    I’m sorry, but I’m racking my brain trying to remember what I did specifically and it’s not coming to me. I know I had a bigger issue that wasn’t really this plugins problem.

    I was working in Catalyst and creating custom loops in a custom functions.php and was doing something wrong within that loop.

    I really believe in adding solutions to forums like this, but it’s been so long and I’ve done so much to that site since that I’m just not clear on what I did.

    If you want to post more details about your problem, maybe it will spark something?

    I kinda had this question as well but so as not to hijack the original post and to start again I started this one:

    And there is a solution there, but I would love to have Aaron fix it in the code so I don’t have to remember how I hacked it. But in line 105 you can just use your custom post_type in the add_meta_box section.
