[Plugin: WP Customer Reviews] A couple of feature requests.

Gravatars – This is on the todo list.. Just didn’t get around to it yet. I’ll try to include in the next release along with a couple of minor CSS issues I noticed with some themes and “table borders”.

Location would be a good field to add with an option for asking/requiring/displaying.

Sidebar widget.. good idea.. A bit overloaded with other (paying) work right now, but it’s definitely on the todo list also ??

We’ll add it to the list. Image uploads are a small nightmare, but I think we can make them work somewhat decent. I’ll plan it for a future update. Thanks for the suggestion.

Or to link to item in our inventory that they’ve purchased which will then show a featured image or post thumbnail.

Location can be added with custom fields now. I totally forgot to do the gravatars on the front end, but I will try to sneak that into 2.0.1.

2.0.0 will hit the servers in a few minutes. I think you will be pleasantly surprised at the multiple page implementation, which also paved the way to add in hProduct reviews, since thats the only review microformat that makes sense for using multiple pages.

(somebody said that date should be optional and I would like that too, since I am uploading reviews from another site and all that)

The date is entered automatically and is required for the microformat.. Not really a way around that.. but the good news is that the date can be edited to whatever you want via admin. Just view the review and click on the date to edit. Easy as that!

Avi — still working on the gravatar inclusion. I am trying to get rid of all of the remaining theme issues (mostly paid themes – go figure) and then will work on adding requested features.

Is there currently the ability to add the reviews to posts? I installed this a few days ago and can’t see that there is but I would really love for it to be available. I use posts to display products from my merchants so currently I am unable to use the plugin.

We have added the ability to use it with posts a couple of days ago. Try out the latest version.
