[Plugin: WP-Cumulus] Styling using em instead of pixels

    I decided to try putting in the widget settings width in em rather than pixels, as it seems to make more sense in a “liquid”-ish layout. It worked perfectly in Firefox but (as usual) looks terrible in IE – more like it’s forcing to 18 pixels there. Is there something that could be done to allow using em in those settings such that it’d work across the board?

  • You’re right, em is more elegant than pixels. Flash however requires either pixels or a percentage for the embed size. As far as I know it will not accept em.

    100% works well for me though – didn’t think of using that and it has the same net effect for me (as it’s relative to the div it’s in rather than the entire page). Thanks!
