• G’day. First off, great plugin, thanks for the work on this one.

I’ve found an incompatibility issue with it on my website. I’m running Nextgen Gallery on my site. On the home page, if a person clicks on one of the gallery images (via the Nextgen widget) – the picture comes up with the Lightbox effect.

The problem is that Cumulus doesn’t “fade out” like the rest of the site. It stays bright and will interfere with the picture.

For an example, look at my homepage: https://www.seventil.com (click the gallery images on the right)

Anyone know a solution for this?

    Thanks in advance.

  • Actually, both IE6 and FF3 do gray out WP-Cumulus on my XP machine. What OS and browser are you using?

In any case this is an issue caused by Flash, not so much by this plugin. There’s really very little I can do about it.

    Fixed the problem!

I had to check “make background transparent” in the Widget settings.

I tried it on XP / FF3 and Linux / FF2 with same results.

Working fine now. Thanks for the response / great plugin. ??

Thanks for the solution seventil. I had the same problem and already tried the “transparant” setting in the Cumulus setting, but forgot about the Widget settings. ?? Working fine for me too now!

Any idea how to make this flash object transparent if the theme is not “widget aware” The gallery in the header is working great but I would like to get rid of the annoying white flash as the ss loads.

The transparency setting is also available under Settings->WP Cumulus.
