[Plugin: WP-Cumulus] conflict with ‘Kimili Flash Embed’ plugin

Can you tell me what you do see when you try to use both at the same time? As far as I can tell, Kimili also uses the SWFObject library, and I’ve successfully used multiple instances of SWFObject on the same page before. Perhaps we’re both suing the same variable names or something…

(also, your website appears to have a few markup errors, something SWFObject really objects to)

When both are activated, the Kimili-embedded Flash piece on the home page does not appear. WP-Cumulus appears.

If you can give me more details the markup errors: I don’t expect a full list but just an example and how you went about locating them.

It doesn’t show any errors right now. Did you change anything since my last post? There were XML parsing errors. Those can cause SWFObject to fail. The SWFObject code used by Kimili looks like it shouldn’t any trouble (it uses inique names and such).

Can you guys help me get kimili’s plugin working? It doesn’t appear on my homepage correct. In addition, it doesn’t show up on any other pages.

Assuming you have WP-Cumulus activated, and deactivating WP-Cumulus isn’t the solution you’re looking for, you have the issue I have.
