[Plugin: WP Content Slideshow] Size of featured post image

  • The featured images on the pages I want to include in the slide show are a different size than the size I want to use in the slide show. In other words, on the page the size is 240×160 but in the slide show I want to use 630×250. I can adjust the ratios somewhat, but I can’t very easily resize the featured image on its page to fit a 630×250 into a 240 wide area. And if I use the 240×160 in the slideshow, it’s all stretched out and looks awful.

    Is it possible to add options to the shortcode that would use a different image? (i.e. the 630×250 instead of the 240×160) If not, how have others solved this problem (I can’t be the only one). Please advise. Many thanks!

    I should also add that the image used on the page must be a featured image, in order to work with the routine used in the theme. So I can’t just display a different image on the page and use the larger size as the featured image.
