• Dear WP-Client-File-Share-Team,

    how big can the size of the files be I’d like to upload?! I tried 100 MB and nothing happend (finished uploading, but file didn’t appear in the list). Tried 25 MB. But this didn’t worked too … Do you have a limitation of file size?!

    My webspace is about 6GB and I have unlimited traffic.

    Thanks for your help!

    Hmm I tried it (22MB file) too on Windows7 with Firefox 11.0 and InternetExplorer 9. After a while it stops the connecting with the server. What can I do? I don’t know what I’m doing wrong …

    Has anybody else experiences with large files up to 100MB?!

    I’t not the plugin, it’s your hosts php limits. Depending on your hosting provider you do this (this is what I do and it works with my host anyway) is create a “php.ini” file. and put it in your root domain folder. To make a php.ini file just make a new text file, paste the following in it:

    ; Maximum size of POST data that PHP will accept.
    post_max_size = 20M

    ; Maximum allowed size for uploaded files.
    upload_max_filesize = 20M

    Save and name it php.ini. Upload it to your root directory on your host server. Change the values to whatever size you want (the on above is 20MB’s)

    Thank you for your answer.
    I talked with the Webhost-Provider and they told me, that I can’t do anything, becaus upload is limitated with 16MB maximum. Just uploading via FTP-Software will work with bigger files.

    I can’t connect “WP-Clienet-File-Share” with the FTP-functionality?!

    Maybe I just upload via FTP and then offer a link to that folder with “WP-Clienet-File-Share” …

    Another solution is a full-server. A bit more expensive, but not much. But if I upload (or the client) bigger files it’s hard tom wait without a progress-bar. Are you planning to implement that in the future?!
    If found something to do by myself, but I have no experiences in such things:

    Thanks for further help!
