    Ok, I still don’t get this. I am not a coder but I do not know exactly where in the header.php file I need to place the wow slider# .php

    Can someone point me to the exact location this needs to be placed.

    I surely would appreciate it.

    Thanks all.

    You should add WOWSlider php code in the place where you want your slider to appear. We don’t know where is this place, so we couldn’t “guess” an exact line in your code.

    I want to put the wow slider in the HEADER at the top of this page :
    https://www.discovershenandoah.com to replace the FLASH header that is there now.

    I am guessing it might be somewhere here, but this is what I don’t know.

    $image[1] >= HEADER_IMAGE_WIDTH ) :
    // Houston, we have a new header image!

    Your current slideshow is added by the following code:

    <?php
    					// Check if this is a post or page, if it has a thumbnail, and if it's a big one
    					if ( is_singular() &&
    							has_post_thumbnail( $post->ID ) &&
    							( /* $src, $width, $height */ $image = wp_get_attachment_image_src( get_post_thumbnail_id( $post->ID ), 'post-thumbnail' ) ) &&
    							$image[1] >= HEADER_IMAGE_WIDTH ) :
    						// Houston, we have a new header image!
    						echo get_the_post_thumbnail( $post->ID, 'post-thumbnail' );
    					else : ?>
    						<?php if(function_exists('show_media_header')){ show_media_header(); } ?>
    				<?php endif; ?>

    Try to replace it with WOWSlider php code.

    So, I pasted in the code in the header. It appears and works ok. However, it causes my navigation not to function. I have no ability to click on any links in my navigation bar.
    I have replaced it with my previous swf.

    Any other ideas??

    Thank you

    Make sure that you didn’t remove the code for navigation below the code of slideshow:

    <div id="access" role="navigation">
    			  <?php /* Allow screen readers / text browsers to skip the navigation menu and get right to the good stuff */ ?>
    				<div class="skip-link screen-reader-text"><a href="#content">"><?php _e( 'Skip to content', 'twentyten' ); ?></a></div>
    				<?php /* Our navigation menu. If one isn't filled out, wp_nav_menu falls back to wp_page_menu. The menu assiged to the primary position is the one used. If none is assigned, the menu with the lowest ID is used. */ ?>
    				<?php wp_nav_menu( array( 'container_class' => 'menu-header', 'theme_location' => 'primary' ) ); ?>
    			</div><!-- #access -->

    This below is exactly the part I took out: nothing more:
    <?php
    // Check if this is a post or page, if it has a thumbnail, and if it’s a big one
    if ( is_singular() &&
    has_post_thumbnail( $post->ID ) &&
    ( /* $src, $width, $height */ $image = wp_get_attachment_image_src( get_post_thumbnail_id( $post->ID ), ‘post-thumbnail’ ) ) &&
    $image[1] >= HEADER_IMAGE_WIDTH ) :
    // Houston, we have a new header image!
    echo get_the_post_thumbnail( $post->ID, ‘post-thumbnail’ );
    else : ?>
    <?php if(function_exists(‘show_media_header’)){ show_media_header(); } ?>
    <?php endif; ?>

    I tried this 2 more times and each time, it broke my navigation menu.
    I did not remove the code you indicated above.

    Any other ideas
