• You have to use their app to build the slide show, then use the plugin to integrate it into your site. Here are the instructions they pointed me to. https://wowslider.com/wordpress-jquery-slider.html

It works in Firefox and Safari but it’s not working in IE8. The images don’t move or change. I’ve emailed them about it. Good luck

hello…
When I did my first slider about a week ago, it did not work in IE.
But then I did a new one, and it worked fine. I just corrected the style.css and took away things that IE dos not support. Now It works like a charm…(exept for the last one I did…One of the image is broken…have to fix that…
My big problem is that I would like to change some of the image from time to time and can figure out how to do that without have to build a new one.
I do save my builted sliders (the .wowsl file) but when I open that file again after a wile all the image are gone.
You can se it on https://homedesignone.se

WOWSlider doesn’t provide this option. You can change images, template or transition effect with WOWSlider application only. It’s impossible to do directly in WordPress.

You didn’t provide us a link to your webpage with a problem, so I can suppose that the reason of problem is a missing/incomplete the DOCTYPE declaration for universal compatibility. It should be:
<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC “-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Transitional//EN” “https://www.w3.org/TR/html4/loose.dtd”>

You can find a detailed instruction “How to change the DOCTYPE declaration in the WordPress” on our website:
https://www.wowslider.com/rq/doctype-for-image-slide-jquery-in-wordpress-2w.html

If problem will persist, please contact with customer support at support [at] wowslider [dot] com. Provide us a link to your webpage with a problem and info about WOWSlider and WOWSlider plugin versions.

It seems that WOWSlider has a conflict with with the theme or one of the plugins that you use.
Try to use a default theme and disable plugins.
