Hi Chad and the team,

I updated the plugin and the formatting disappeared from the single restricted page I have on the last website where I use your plugin. Everything else is normal. I fixed the problem by using a text editor and replaced \n\n with

and with a little tinkering things display normally – have you seen this before? I’d like to figure out where I blundered because your stuff is my “go to” for custom membership management – I’ve been and remain a “happy user” for years and have enjoyed the premium tier ownership in the past.

I could use a hint, updates in wordpress, the pagebuilder (siteorigin) and your plugin have left me clueless about where to toggle page restriction on/off – nothing shows anymore.

Thanks for publishing a GREAT plugin.

    Brian

My initial thought would be that it has something to do with WP’s wpautop() function, which replaces line breaks with
tags. Generally, this occurs via the the_content filter. WP-Members uses this filter hook as well, usually without issue. But depending on the theme and other factors, there could be the need to work around it.

Was the formatting issue when logged in, logged out, or both?

    Hi Chad,

    Both, logged in and out.

Wait, stop the presses! I backtracked and updated with the normal line breaks and it looked ok as admin but displayed without line breaks. Then reupdated with the manual
s and it displayed properly.

    Hi Chad,

Just wondering if I should take further action besides manually replacing the
tags so that visitors who aren’t logged in as admin can view the page normally.

    Thanks for the help!

    Brian
