• So, I’ve tested this plugin and it seem to work, probably even better than Smush.it but what I don’t like at this plugin is that I need to register on their website and get an api key.

    The thing is that I don’t want third party websites involved into my business so I will get back to Smush.it.

  • Smush also uses an external service for compression so if that is your concern you should prepare/optimize your images locally before sending them to your WP install.
