[Plugin: wordTube] Only YouTube videos are wokring

  • Just installed and configured wordTube plugin but my initial testing shows that only YouTube videos are working when you go to insert media and try to play videos.

    I have tried adding videos from Daily Motion and Google Videos but they are not working. I have used the following two videos for testing purposes:

    I thought this plugin will play videos from any source.

    Any suggestions how to fix this problem?

    this plugin [wordtube] uses jw flv media player from jeroen wijering. so if you want to embed videos from other sources, you have to ask jeroen wijering or use another wp-plugin (there are some with sim. capabilities).

    not ture. this plugin can be adapted to pull the vimeo video into JW Player. It’s just not programed. Seems like it’d be a very welcome addition but it also means the developer would have to write out different functions for each site like one for vimeo one for google and so on.

    Maybe , you should request help for other video poratls in Jeroens forums…
