[Plugin: wordTube] Individual videos work but not playlist

  • I am using wordtube 2.3.1 and I moved from my host. I don’t know what I might have hosed on my way over from there, but my playlists have stopped working. Individual media files still work, but the play list just gives me the play button with a line through it icon for all my playlists.

    Anyone have any ideas about where I should start checking? I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled the plugin, I’ve confirmed that the medial files are there. If some of the medial files are not there, would that break the list? It’s possible I missed a file here an there, but most should be there.

    okay, I’ve reset permissions on my site, I’ve uninstalled, completely from my site and reinstalled, I’ve got JW Player 5.2, WP 3.0.1, although I had this problem on 2.9.2… I’m really struggling with this if anyone else has had a problem and resolved it, please let me know. I see there are others who are having this issue, but I haven’t been able to find a resolution via the forums.

    I had this problem when I moved to streaming video.

    The issue is that Wordtube uses its own format to list links to streaming files in the playlist rather than the format JW Player wants to see.

    You have to go in and modify myextractXML.php to fix this.
