[Plugin: WordPress.com Stats] Script in Plugin being identified as suspicious

  • I upgraded to the latest version and my site is now being identified as suspicious. The code is: `st_go({<?php echo stats_array($a); ?>});
    var load_cmc = function(){linktracker_init(<?php echo “{$a[‘blog’]},{$a[‘post’]},2”; ?>);};`

    I deleted this string out of the plugin file and the plugin seems to work fine, as far as I can tell. The string is identified as suspicious because it is located outside of the <HTML> </HTML> block.

    Is this string important to the plugin?
