[Plugin: WordPress.com Stats] API key error

    After installing stats 1.3.1, I’ve gotten this error when asked to input my API key:

    Error from last API Key attempt:
    server error. requested method wpStats.check_key does not exist.

    Any help is appreciated!

  • I just had this error. All I did what closed my FireFox 3 (which deletes all cookies/history/etc), re-opened my browser, logged back into my account and the plugin was fine.

    I don’t know what was the issue but that was the only thing that I did and it’s working again.

    No luck with me, sadly… I’m glad it’s worked out for you!

    Sorry folks! That was an issue in the WordPress.com servers. Version 1.3.1 is okay.

    I’m using the version 1.3.5 here, and having the same problem
