[Plugin: WordPress Wiki] "back to top" code doesn't seem to work

This code:
#top(in double brackets)or
#toc(in double brackets)is supposed to bring a person back to the top of the page or back to the table of contents. the mediawiki syntax page says this is the code to use but it doesn’t appear to work in WordPress wiki.
Is this a bug or intentional?
