[Plugin: WordPress Thumbnail Slider] Slider does not display images

Hi, I installed and activated the plugin on my local server, placed the code to show on my home page, and in options I entered the urls of several images. All I see on the site are the urls,not the actual images. Not sure what to do at this point.
