• I got Sphinx installed properly, everything’s indexed and should be good to go—set up my cron jobs as well, and they’re working just fine.

    However, when I go to search, I get the following error:

    Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /usr/home/actrees11/public_html/wordpress.actrees.org/wp-includes/query.php on line 2746

    Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /usr/home/actrees11/public_html/wordpress.actrees.org/wp-includes/query.php:2746) in /usr/home/actrees11/public_html/wordpress.actrees.org/wp-includes/pluggable.php on line 866

    When I deactivated the plugin, search worked as expected, so I’m guessing it must be an incompatibility Sphinx is having with… something?

    Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Hello Supewinner.
    Could you describe your problem in more details?
    We never could reproduce the one mentioned earlier in this thread. It would be great if you helped to do that.

    1) installed the Sphinx (“OK – Sphinx Search Server is running”);

    2) database indexed;

    3) put a tag on the page – appeared in the search field;

    4) click on “Search”;

    5) “Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in …/wp-includes/query.php on line 2762” and “Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at …/wp-includes/query.php:2762) in …/wp-includes/pluggable.php on line 881”.

    6) if you delete a line 2762 – no error message appears, but the search does not work: “Sorry, but nothing matched your search criteria. Please try again with some different keywords”.

    Hello,
    This error could be reproduced with the searching for words that are not in the index.
    Fixed in the 3.3.4
