[Plugin: WordPress Simple Survey] Putting wordpress simple survey in a sidebar widget

I was wondering if anyone knows how to put the
“wordpress simple survey” plugin, simply in a sidebar widget.
I was surprised it’s not an option.
I tried to put the shortcode [wp-simple-survey-1] in a simple text widget and it’s not working.can anyone help?
