• Hi,

I started to use this plugin and it has caused some issues on my site.

    1) I cant access my categories anymore, get 500 internal error. i.e. when I try to access mydomain.com/news I get the error.

    2) Before if I user forgot to enter the .html at the end or used an old permalink structure the blog would redirect it to the right post. Now, however, if I i.e. leave out the html or use the old structure I get a 500 error as well.

    Thanks for your help!

  • 1. On the Title Settings page, if you have anything in your Category template and Meta Description template fields try deleting them and leaving them blank, saving the settings, and then reloading the category page.

There are issues in the way the plugin is handling come of these title settings. Might also have to do with theme or other settings. But for the moment, I’ve just left the Category, Tag, and Post fields blank, which although far from ideal, at least doesn’t lead to a 500 error.

Thanks for the help pxlar8, I left it blank and the categories and tag pages work now.

The second problem still persists and now I get a 500 error when loading the pages.

Well I fixed the 500 errors, had to disable the .html on pages plugin.

The redirection problem still persists, it says there are too many redirects. So would be great if yoast could fix the category/tag issue as well as look into the redirection problem.

    Thanks!

    1. I’m still having the 500 error with categories with the new 0.1.3 version.
