[Plugin: WordPress SEO by Yoast] Website that was fine suddenly can't handle WP SEO
-
Love, love, love WordPress SEO, but June 1, 2012 my site, JeffersonStatePost.com, stopped loading in both Chrome and Firefox with “too many redirects” error, and white screen for WP Dashboard.
Only disabling WordPress SEO stopped the error. (After renaming “plugins folder” to “plugins_old” and creating new “plugins” folder.)
Now with all other plugins disabled, even activating the WordPress SEO plugin by itself reproduces the error. Ouch! What to do?
Searching on the internet indicates this may have something to do with how my Permalinks are set up (in my case /%category%/%postname%/).
Can I delete WordPress SEO and its files and reinstall to get it working again? Is there a better solution?
