[Plugin: WordPress SEO by Yoast] tag and Quick AdSense Plugin

  • Hi I’m using the latest version of WordPress SEO by Yoast and Quick Adsense plugin and it appears a recent update to WordPress SEO plugin breaks their insert of ad banners into a web page.

    Only by adding Meta Description: to a page does the ad banner show up. If any page we do not fill in the Meta Description the automatic insert of the ad does not work.

    This happens within the Genesis framework and Thesis 1.x

    Let me add it since it was cut off in this post. it’s the ‘more’ tag that’s available in wordpress formatting.

    I found that in Thesis you need to have the meta description in BOTH the Thesis and Yoast SEO meta fields for adsense to show.
