[Plugin: WordPress SEO by Yoast] Strip the category base from the category URL. – pagination
-
Hi,
When I check the “Strip the category base (usually /category/) from the category URL” option, pagination stops working. For example, if I have posts on more than one page, the first page opens well but the 2nd and following pages do not open. I get the “Page not found” error.
If I uncheck the “Strip the category base (usually /category/) from the category URL” option, all the pages open well but I would like to strip the category from the URL.
When the “Strip the category base (usually /category/) from the category URL” option is NOT checked:
https://www.anydomain.com/category/articles/ -> opens fine
https://www.anydomain.com/category/articles/page/2/ -> opens fine
https://www.anydomain.com/category/articles/page/3/ -> opens fineWhen the “Strip the category base (usually /category/) from the category URL” option is CHECKED:
https://www.anydomain.com/articles/ -> opens fine
https://www.anydomain.com/articles/page/2/ -> PAGE NOT FOUND
https://www.anydomain.com/articles/page/3/ -> PAGE NOT FOUNDCan you, please, fix this issue? Thanks.
