• Good morning all.

I spent a little time configuring SEO over the weekend, its a great plug-in and very intuitive. I followed the tutorial and have enabled XML Sitemap. When I click the button to view the sitemap, I am directed to the homepage. When I search for the sitemap using FileZilla or in my cPanel there is no sitemap_index.xml in the root folder. I have a bery basic robots.txt, literally:

    User-agent: *
    Disallow: /search”

My .htaccess file is the standard WP one. Not changed.

Can anybody provide any further guadance / tips on getting this working? Also, when I select “Edit Files” I have no further options. Could this be a permissions issue? If so, any tips on what I need to do there?

Any tips would be greatly welcome.

    Further to my note above.

    WordPress version: 3.3.2
    WordPress SEO version: 1.1.9

    Site: https://www.qubedarchitecture.co.uk

I did this: Relativelly new site (less than a month). Based on Responsive Theme. SEO configured as per guidelines. Fair number of jQuery pages.

I expected the plugin to do this: Create a sietmap_index.xml file

Instead it did this: Not sure. But, no xml file in directory.
