[Plugin: WordPress SEO by Yoast] SEO not working

  • Apologies in advance I’m quite novice. On the plugins page (I just added WordPress SEO by Yoast yesterday) it says 1.2.2.

    I’m running this SEO plugin on multiple websites and for the one I just added SEO it doesn’t look the same at all.

    #1 it isn’t working, when I update a page the title at the top only shows the URL.

    #2 the wordpress page for SEO by Yoast looks different. On the home of titles and metas it says only “You can determine the title and description for the front page by editing the front page itself ?” for example, where on every other website I’m running it on it has multiple boxes to update the home page SEO stuff.

    Any advice would help, I’d be happy to make a donation.

  • It is exactly the same for me. I have SEO by YOast in two different sites. One sis ok, the second one behaves and shows the same problems you describe in yours. Os it possible ti reinstall the old version which worked perfectly? Someone knows how?
