  • I have the same issue and it’s becoming a big problem.

    Surely this isn’t by design? We often don’t add a manual meta description, and can see the reason for the plugin not auto-generating one, however we think its essential that an OG description is generated.

    Will this be fixed in a new release?

    I have recently tried WordPress SEO (Yoast) and found that open graph meta for the homepage is showing a hyphen ( – ) after the og:title. Can anyone tell me how to remove it.

    <meta property=’og:title’ content=’Free Audio and Web Video Conferencing Services – ‘/>

    Is it possible to get an update on this from Yoast or someone else on the team? It’s worrying me thinking that the missing OG descriptions could be harming potential traffic to our site.

    @pixelkicks: Couldn’t agree more! Would love to hear from the support team on this.

    Same problem here….
    Any clue?

    I see this plugin has had an update yet the problem still exists. Is this being ignored?

    I think so the problem has been reported since a while and still not fixed by the author ??
