Did you make a backup before upgrading? This should be your first procedure before upgrading.

yes I always back up first, it’s manually re entering everything, not that big of deal, but still another process.

Hmm I’d be curious to figure out what happened here. WP SEO never deletes content…

I might be having a similar problem. I upgraded to wordpress 3.4.1 and now the admin doesn’t even give me the option to display the SEO Options box on pages and posts.

And i seems to have lost the SEO Options box on the product pages of mij webshop (using Shopp). I just started to build my very first webshop, but i’m pretty sure that some days ago i had the SEO options box here.
I’ve checked that it’s not set on hide in the settings. Also is does not apear at the screen options on top of the screen.

You’ve got a collission with another plugin or your theme I think. Please read this thread and follow the instructions there. If the issue persists, try to formulate your problem using the template in that post. I can’t do anything based on what you’re telling me here.

What’s strange to me is that this occured after an update to wordpress and/or the SEO plugin (I don’t remember which I installed last). But also that I have another development site that is running the EXACT same setup with regard to theme and plugins and the SEO plugin works fine.

I’ve already tried deactivating all plugins, reinstalling WordPress SEO, changing themes and nothing seems to help.

I might try to rebuild the site from scratch with a wordpress export-import since I don’t really have too much content overall. I guess it’ll probably take me an afternoon but I don;t know what else to do and I really want to use the SEO plugin.
