[Plugin: WordPress SEO by Yoast] Importing settings, or usign default values

WordPress version: 3.3.2
WordPress SEO version: 1.1.9

I did this: Imported a settings.zip conf file

I expected the plugin to do this: Fill-in my values with ones chosen on a similar site I’d worked on.

Instead it did this: Confirmed the import had been successful, but all fields remained empty.

I paid a donator contribution to the project : yes ?? (Ok that one was not required ?? )

I could not seem to find any info in this forum or on the official guide site about Import features. I can import settings but even though the plugin confirms the import was ok (“Les réglages ont été importés avec succès.” in French, I may even be the one who translated it ;-)) , I still have to fill in all fields manually.
Any way to have a standard set of presets and values, like for %%title%% values ?
