[Plugin: WordPress SEO by Yoast] htaccess and webmasters tools

Yoast SEO plugin is definetly the best SEO tool for wordpress. It presents, however, two annoying issues. The first one is that it complete rewrites the .htaccess everytime the plugin is updated or some settings are saved. Any modfication made by the user to the file is then lost.
The other issue is that every plugin update erases the webmasters tools id for Google, Bing and Alexa in “General Settings” pane.
Fixing these two issues will convert the plugin in a masterpiece…
