[Plugin: WordPress SEO by Yoast] Google Webmaster says site map is not html

  • I posted a reply to an earlier discussion but didn’t realize it was marked as resolved so I thought I’d open another.

    When I upload my sitemap to google webmaster tools it says “Your Sitemap appears to be an HTML page. Please use a supported sitemap format instead.”

    I tired disabling all my plug ins and reverting to twentyeleven but got the same message.

    any clues?
