Using WordPress 3.4.1
WordPress SEO Version 1.2.8.3
WordPress SEO News Version 1.0
When I try to submit a sitemap to Google Webmaster tools it says it has an error. The issue is “Missing XML tag” and the description is “This required tag is missing. Please add it and resubmit.”
It happens only for sitemaps from the WordPress SEO and WordPress SEO News plugin. I submitted an image sitemap from another plugin and it does not give an error.
Do you have any idea why this is?
I would love to search this forum to see if it has been posted before but there is no easy way to search here, without me scrolling through 94 pages of support threads…
