[Plugin: WordPress SEO by Yoast] Focus keyword not found in content

    WordPress version: 3.3.2
    WordPress SEO version: 1.1.7

    I’ve used your plugin on all my sites and with great success. I have it installed on one particular site where the Focus Keyword is not being recognized in the post content (in the backend wp editor). It’s does not do this on every post/page. Only on a few.

    I have erased the SEO data on this page, saved, then re-entered the SEO data and still get the same result. My clients love the ease of use of the plugin, but are hung up on having the big red No in the Content area.

    An example straight from the page in question:

    Focus Keyword: 55+ and Retirement Homes

    First sentence of first paragraph: 55+ and Retirement Homes in Maine go by some different names: retirement communities, senior independent living communities or 55+ Communities, but are designed for independent seniors with few needs for assistance.

    Any ideas or suggestions? I’ve already disabled all other plugins etc. but get the same result.

    Hmm, it doesn’t like the +… Will fix that for the next release.

    Hi, this also happens with Greek language characters.

    For example, if you check the linked image, you’ll notice that the keyword is present, though not detected.

    I know that usually people separate those characters from the words, but the 1st case (the semi colon – which is actually the Greek question mark) is the way it’s supposed to be typed in real case scenarios.

    Anyone know how Yoast automatically picks up a FOCUS KEYWORD, as all my posts have the grey cicrle, meaning no FOCUS KEYWORD was set for this post.

    Also, I thought Yoast was supposed to automatically put in a META DESCRIPTION for you. I’ve created one in the settings, but it’s not in my posts wehn I navigate to the posts seciton of the dashbaord.

    I have trouble of this kind too.
    “The keyword doesn’t appear in the first paragraph of the copy, make sure the topic is clear immediately.”
    I keep getting this message, even though the keyword IS in the first paragraph of the copy:

    My keyword is “truth” – sitting there in front of me in the focus keyword box, page updated several times to be sure.
    The first paragraph of the copy is:
    “The purpose of this essay is to help clear up the confusion about colour and energy/vibration. Why is colour, although real to us, not the essential truth of the light we see?”
    Page updated several times to be sure.

    Also, SEO is constantly telling me the keyword is not in the image tag but it is, for every image I have uploaded. I make sure it always is!

    Driving me crazy. What can I do?
