Can you give me the URL to your XML Sitemap?

    Thanks.

Please follow the instructions found here to test with the development version. This bug has already been fixed there I think. You are, however, running your live server with WP_DEBUG set to true. I wouldn’t do that.

Strange, I have it in other sites with no problem at all. I just update it to development version and now I have a blank post-sitemap.xml.

About the WP_DEBUG, I have it as false in config, so thats strange.

What can I do to fix this ?

    Thanks.

Something is enabling the debug mode, otherwise the notices wouldn’t fly. Seriously though, test the development version.

I have the development version installed and the result is a blank page, please see the sitemap for the result.

What can be enabling the debug mode ? That’s strange.

    Thanks.

Clear your cache, or make sure to reupload the development version. The issue there couldn’t be happening in the development version…

    Ok, now I get this:

    XML Parsing Error: not well-formed
    Location: https://acuarioadictos.com/post-sitemap.xml
    Line Number 2816, Column 27: <image:title>Animales & Cia</image:title>

If anyone else is having this problem, I found this:

    - All the & characters in query strings must be & .
    - Whatever you used to build the sitemap is faulty.

(Code is not displaying it correctly, but its “& amp ;” without spaces)

I went and edit that entry, changing the “&” for “and” and now its working.

So theres another bug to fix.

I update this, I thout it was working, but it only seems it is. Webmaster Tools gives me this.

Your Sitemap does not appear to be in a supported format. Please ensure it meets our Sitemap guidelines and resubmit.

    What to do ?

    Thanks.

SOLVED, just replace the “&” with “and” in content. It will be fixed.

    Hi,

I have the same error: This page contains the following errors:
error on line 2 at column 1: Extra content at the end of the document
Below is a rendering of the page up to the first error.

I am running wordpress 3.5 and wordpress seo 1.3.4.1. I didn’t understand where I have to put “and” instead of “&” in the solution above.. can you explain better? Thanks a lot

Hi, i add to my previous comment: I am using WPML version 2.6.1 (last version) and I am running 2 languages. I am using WordPress SEO because it should work fine with WPML, creating sitemaps per languages.

If I hide the 2nd language in WPML I don’t have the error, while if I enable the 2nd language, there is this error. I don’t have any idea to solve alone..Please Help!!

    Thanks!

Until a fix is added to the plugin, edit your posts that have “&” in the title, use “and” instead.

    Cheers.

thanks for the answer…I had only on post with “&” in the title..i modified but I still continue to have the error.. do i have to moodify nly in the title or in all the content?
