• I have checked my header.php file and I do see the following call immediately before the close head tag as such:

    <?php wp_head(); ?>

    </head>

    However, on a page or blog post, I type in a custom description for the page, but it does not show when I view the source on the live page. It is pulling the tagline of the blog as the description for the posts and pages.

    What can I do to fix this?

    Thanks.

    Thank you Pankaj. I have read the documentation. I have no problem with the title tag, just the description. This is the reason that I posted — so I could get some help.

    Since you’ve used it successfully perhaps you could offer some suggestions to help me get the description to work.

    Thanks.

    Are you using any other SEO plugin? please post the url where you have problem so i may possibly tell you what is the problem.

    I am not using any other SEO plugin. The site is not live yet so you can access the site by the temporary URL here:

    I appreciate any help. As I said I can do the new titles so that’s a start but I’m not sure why the description is not taking.

    Thanks
