[Plugin: WordPress SEO by Yoast] Canonical URL different from Address URL

The canonical url output is different from the address bar, this causes google to index all /?s= queries in their index.
Example below:
Address bar – https://www.horlic.com/?s=etqete
Output by WordPress SEO – <link rel=”canonical” href=”https://www.horlic.com/search/etqete/” />
